Responsibilities

As a Control, Protection & SCADA Engineer:

  • You are in charge of the secondary systems through all stages of large-scale energy projects, in particular renewable energy projects such as offshore wind farms.
  • You determine the necessary protection functions and draw protection block diagrams based on the project specific needs.
  • You perform short-circuit and protection coordination studies and are responsible for the programming and commissioning of the secondary systems.
  • You design, implement and commission SCADA systems and integrate third party automation systems,  telecommunication, remote engineering access and condition monitoring systems.
  • You provide specialist operational support to the operations and maintenance team of power plants.
  • You share knowledge with clients through consulting and training.
  • You are instrumental to the further development and growth of Enersynt.
  • You actively contribute to a sustainable energy system.  

Your profile

  • You have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Systems.
  • You have at least five years of experience with power systems, with a specific focus on secondary systems.
  • You are pragmatic, eager to learn, and solution-oriented, with a hands-on mentality.
  • You appreciate working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • You have effective verbal and written communication skills and easily adapt your communication style to suit different technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are fluent in English,  knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
